Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Kubernetes & CI/CD Expert with deep hands-on experience in building, automating, securing, and operating enterprise-scale container platforms and software delivery pipelines in AWS environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Amazon EKS, GitOps, ArgoCD/FluxCD, Helm, Terraform, and modern CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, and Harness. This role requires strong production support capability, troubleshooting depth across Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure, and a solid understanding of secure, reliable, and scalable cloud-native delivery practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, administer, upgrade, and troubleshoot enterprise-scale Kubernetes platforms on AWS (Amazon EKS preferred), including cluster lifecycle management, node groups, autoscaling, and platform hardening.
  • Build, manage, and optimize end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, security scan, release, and deployment workflows across development, test, and production environments.
  • Implement and operationalize GitOps-based deployment models using ArgoCD, FluxCD, or equivalent tools, ensuring version-controlled, auditable, and repeatable releases.
  • Develop and maintain reusable Helm charts, Kubernetes manifests, deployment templates, and platform standards to support consistent workload onboarding.
  • Manage and optimize containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes, including resource tuning, health probes, workload isolation, and resilience patterns.
  • Implement modern deployment strategies including Rolling, Blue-Green, and Canary releases, with rollback, approval, and progressive delivery controls.
  • Design and enforce Kubernetes security controls including RBAC, Network Policies, Secrets Management, image governance, and Pod Security Standards aligned to DevSecOps practices.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and environment configuration using Terraform and related Infrastructure as Code practices.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across Kubernetes networking, ingress, service discovery, persistent storage, cluster performance, container runtime, and CI/CD toolchains.
  • Collaborate with Development, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure, and Security teams to improve deployment velocity, platform reliability, compliance, and developer experience.
  • Support production environments, participate in incident resolution, perform root-cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement for platform stability and release quality.
