PROJECT COORDINATOR
12+ month contract
Summary
This role provides project coordination and process support for initiatives related to implementing new generation resources within the OT organization. Responsibilities include tracking and managing tasks assigned to application development teams, maintaining project timelines in ServiceNow, and ensuring timely updates on work progress. In addition, this role will facilitate process improvement efforts, implement approved process changes, and communicate those changes clearly across the organization. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
What You’ll Do
• Coordinate and monitor tasks assigned to application development teams to support generation resource implementations.
• Attend meetings for new and in progress projects to gather updates, clarify requirements, and document key decisions.
• Maintain and update project timelines and task status in ServiceNow, ensuring accuracy and visibility for stakeholders.
• Proactively reach out to multiple teams to confirm progress, identify potential delays, and escalate issues as needed.
• Prepare and distribute status reports and summaries for leadership, technical teams, and project stakeholders.
• Support alignment between technical teams and project objectives by tracking dependencies and deadlines.
• Facilitate process improvement efforts by gathering input, documenting current-state workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and recommending changes.
• Implement approved process changes and ensure updates are clearly communicated to all impacted teams.
• Communicate status, risks, issues, and process changes to all levels of the organization, ensuring clarity and transparency.
• Assist in organizing and facilitating project related meetings, including agenda preparation and follow up actions.
• Handle other duties and special projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and initiative.
What It Takes to Succeed
• Proven experience in a project coordination, process support, or task management role, preferably within technology or operational environments.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey information effectively to technical teams, cross functional partners, and leadership.
• Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies; experience with ServiceNow is highly desirable.
• Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and present clear, concise updates.
• Experience supporting or facilitating process improvement initiatives is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools such as Teams and SharePoint.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to identify issues early, drive resolution, and support continuous improvement.
