Workday AMS Integrations Lead (Workday Integration Lead / Technical Lead)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Workday AMS Integrations Lead to drive integration design, development, and support for a complex Workday environment. This role will act as a technical lead and solution architect, supporting ongoing AMS operations, enhancements, and enterprise-scale integrations.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Workday integrations, strong leadership skills, and experience working across multiple Workday modules and global teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Integration Design, Development & Support

• Monitor and maintain the health of inbound/outbound Workday integrations

• Lead design, development, and enhancement of Workday integrations

• Build solutions using EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, REST/SOAP APIs

• Manage integration events, schedules, and notifications

• Troubleshoot and resolve integration failures, alerts, and performance issues

• Conduct root cause analysis across data, business processes, and systems

• Provide Level 3 support for complex issues and escalations

• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and data standards

End-to-End Implementation & Enhancements

• Lead/support full lifecycle Workday implementations and rollouts

• Manage Workday bi-annual releases, including impact analysis and testing

• Collaborate with functional teams to align integrations with business processes

• Lead UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution

• Develop and execute test cases and validation strategies

Cross-Module & Business Partnership

• Act as a solution lead across Workday modules (HCM, Payroll, Benefits, etc.)

• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions

• Facilitate design workshops and stakeholder discussions

• Serve as a trusted advisor to business and functional teams

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization

Architecture, Governance & Delivery

• Own and maintain Workday integration architecture

• Ensure adherence to governance, change management, and release processes

• Scope, estimate, and deliver solutions for AMS tickets and enhancements

• Lead and manage offshore/onshore integration teams

• Ensure solutions meet business and operational requirements

Required Qualifications:

• 13–15 years of overall IT experience with strong Workday focus

• 5+ years of hands-on Workday experience, including AMS/support

• Expertise in Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, REST/SOAP)

• Experience with multiple Workday modules (HCM required)

• Proven ability to lead functional discussions and technical design

• Experience working in global delivery models (onshore/offshore)

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as a Workday Integration Lead / Technical Lead

• Experience in large-scale or global Workday environments

• Knowledge of Workday security, compliance, and data privacy

• Workday certifications (Integration, HCM, etc.)
