### Job Summary Thinking Minds' client is seeking an AI Engineer to build scalable backend systems and production applications powered by Generative AI and Agentic AI. This backend-heavy role partners with product managers, machine learning engineers, and software engineers to deliver reliable customer experiences. You will help shape agent architecture, asynchronous processing pipelines, and distributed systems while developing a strong technical foundation through meaningful engineering work.

### Key Responsibilities
Design and build scalable backend systems and reliable services that serve AI models in production.
Evolve agentic architecture to improve agent autonomy, performance, and reliability.
Build orchestration, retrieval, evaluation, and safety guardrails into production AI applications.
Create human and automated evaluations to assess model quality and guide improvements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements, resolve blockers, identify dependencies, and support project planning.
Explore emerging AI technologies and apply relevant advances to customer-facing capabilities.
### Required Qualifications
Pursuing an advanced degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field, with graduation aligned to the stated upcoming graduate intake.
Previous internship experience in AI, machine learning, or related fields.
Hands-on experience building and deploying generative and agentic AI applications into production.
Practical knowledge of agentic orchestration, evaluation, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and safety mechanisms.
Proficiency in Python and modern backend frameworks, plus experience creating human and automated evaluations.
### Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with FastAPI or Django for backend application development.
Experience training machine learning models and deploying them into business-facing production systems.
Exposure to reinforcement learning and large-scale data processing using Spark.
Experience building large-scale backend systems and distributed processing workflows.
