We’re looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst to support a high-impact system transformation initiative. This role centers on retiring a legacy Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and helping drive the transition to a modern, internally supported platform.

What will your day look like? As a Business Systems Analyst, you will:
• Partner with laboratory stakeholders to gather and define detailed business requirements
• Evaluate current workflows and map out optimized future-state processes
• Work closely with end users to identify necessary changes for system adoption
• Convert business needs into clear, structured requirements for development teams
• Write, refine, and maintain user stories aligned with Agile best practices
• Participate in Scrum activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
• Support delivery efforts to help accelerate system migration timelines
• Act as a bridge between business and technical teams to ensure alignment and feasibility
• Create process documentation, workflow diagrams, and supporting materials
• Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to support successful project outcomes
You will be a good fit for the Business Systems Analyst role if you have:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• 5–7 years of hands-on Business Systems Analysis experience
• Background supporting software implementation or transformation projects
• Strong skills in requirements elicitation, process analysis, and documentation
• Experience working directly with business users to define and refine solutions
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies, including user story creation and backlog management
• Experience using Azure DevOps for tracking requirements and development progress
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Nice-to-Haves:
• Experience working with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
• Background in biotech, pharmaceutical, or laboratory settings
• Experience within regulated industries
• Familiarity with FDA regulations, 21 CFR Part 11, or ISO standards
• Exposure to Modern Requirements within Azure DevOps
• Experience creating diagrams and documentation using Microsoft tools
• Prior involvement in system migration or legacy system decommissioning projects
