ERP Business Analyst/Consultant

Description

We are looking for an experienced ERP Business Analyst/Consultant to support financial systems and business operations. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with finance leaders, business users, and technical teams to strengthen system performance, resolve operational issues, and improve day-to-day processes. The ideal candidate brings strong PeopleSoft knowledge, a solid understanding of finance functions such as banking and accounts receivable, and the ability to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.

Responsibilities:

Partner with finance stakeholders and IT teams to align system support with operational and reporting needs.

Investigate application issues, identify root causes, and coordinate timely resolutions with technical and business partners.

Support financial processes related to banking, receivables, and other core accounting activities within enterprise systems.

Review system connections between PeopleSoft and related platforms to help maintain reliable data flow and functional performance.

Contribute to configuration updates, testing activities, and enhancement efforts for existing financial applications.

Refine and adjust current reports, queries, and dashboards to meet changing business requirements while leveraging existing tools.

Gather and document business requirements, process flows, and system behavior to support informed decision-making and project delivery.

Recommend process improvements that increase efficiency, strengthen user experience, and improve system effectiveness.

Assist teams with system-related responsibilities connected to the ongoing Workday implementation and broader operational support needs.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or comparable consulting role.
Demonstrated success working between business stakeholders and IT teams to deliver system support and improvements.
Strong hands-on experience with PeopleSoft, particularly in environments supporting financial operations.
Background in analyzing, supporting, or troubleshooting enterprise system integrations.
Ability to gather requirements, document workflows, and assist with testing and enhancement initiatives.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess issues and drive practical resolutions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with both functional users and technical teams.
Experience with tools or environments such as Workday, Cognos, ServiceNow, Power BI, or related reporting and support platforms is preferred.
