ABOUT OUR CLIENT / ABOUT THIS ROLE
Medix is currently seeking a Senior Program Manager for an ongoing (1+ year) contract position with one of our best, national healthcare clients.
Our client provides healthcare services to though awarded US Government Contract arms - supporting the Veterans Administration and the DoD. This particular role is for a Senior Program Manager to oversee the entire FedRAMP Modernization effort for one specific 1.5 billion dollar contract vehicle.
We are seeking individuals with 10+ years experience, who have proven experience leading FedRAMP driven cloud-native application builds. Due to the fact this role supports US Government clients, ship is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serving as the senior-most Program Manager on a FedRAMP cloud-native application build & scaling initiative
- Program planning, including defining the program roadmap, goals, and success metrics, and aligning them with the company's overall strategy
- Planning for, and overseeing the budget for this program (upwards of $5 million in annual spend)
- Tracking progress against program goals, identifying issues, and taking corrective action
- Overseeing a team of 4-6 Project Managers
- Leading the delivery and execution of a heavy tech schedule to build a new application in the Azure Gov Cloud, Azure Gov Cloud, hooking up to apps that will be built out - customer portals, databases, connecting telephony, etc.
- Distributing resources (people, budget, time) across projects within the program to optimize efficiency
- Tracking, and providing regular updates on program status, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years experience
- Must have prior Federal Government or FedRAMP Contracting experience
- Must have proven experience in managing cloud-native application build-out / product journeys
- PgPMP / PMP Certifications are a plus, but are not mandatory
