Title: Quality Engineer

Type: Full Time

Location: Bedford NH - Onsite

Our client is currently seeking a Quality Engineer for a full time opportunity in Bedford, NH. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining procedures, documentation, and customer-required deliverables to ensure full compliance with internal quality standards and external contractual requirements.
Responsibilities

Support engineering teams with PMP requirements and collaborate with Engineering and Operations to ensure fabrication designs meet approved data and customer quality flow-down requirements.
Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for new employees and other staff on quality-related processes.
Proactively evaluate and improve systems and procedures to maintain and enhance quality standards.
Work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks and priorities.
Ensure vendor compliance with all required quality flow-down specifications.
Provide analytical support and guidance to maintain effective quality standards throughout the organization.
Lead efforts to develop, update, and maintain quality evaluation and control systems, including protocols for inspection and documentation.
Perform part inspections using a variety of tools to verify conformance to requirements.

Knowledge and Skills

Strong knowledge of the AS-9100 Quality Standard.
High attention to detail to ensure products meet all required specifications.
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing in accordance with ASME Y14.5.
Experience with coordinate measuring machines (CMM) is a plus.
Strong computer proficiency, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
Self-directed with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills and a positive, collaborative attitude.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
U.S. citizenship required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
