Description:
Title: Quality Engineer

Type: Full Time

Location: Bedford NH - Onsite

Our client is currently seeking a Quality Engineer for a full time opportunity in Bedford, NH. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining procedures, documentation, and customer-required deliverables to ensure full compliance with internal quality standards and external contractual requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Support engineering teams with PMP requirements and collaborate with Engineering and Operations to ensure fabrication designs meet approved data and customer quality flow-down requirements.
  • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for new employees and other staff on quality-related processes.
  • Proactively evaluate and improve systems and procedures to maintain and enhance quality standards.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ensure vendor compliance with all required quality flow-down specifications.
  • Provide analytical support and guidance to maintain effective quality standards throughout the organization.
  • Lead efforts to develop, update, and maintain quality evaluation and control systems, including protocols for inspection and documentation.
  • Perform part inspections using a variety of tools to verify conformance to requirements.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Strong knowledge of the AS-9100 Quality Standard.
  • High attention to detail to ensure products meet all required specifications.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing in accordance with ASME Y14.5.
  • Experience with coordinate measuring machines (CMM) is a plus.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Self-directed with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, collaborative attitude.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
