Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Applications Developer to support enterprise software development for a federal government program. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable applications that support mission-critical operations.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications and software solutions
Analyze business and system requirements and translate them into technical designs
Write and maintain secure, high-quality code aligned with industry standards
Perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting across application environments
Support application deployment, integration, and release processes
Maintain technical documentation and adhere to development best practices
Collaborate with infrastructure, database, and cybersecurity teams

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field
5+ years of hands-on application development experience
Experience developing enterprise applications in complex IT environments
Strong understanding of secure coding practices and application security

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

Experience in federal environments
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of system integration and enterprise architectures

Additional Requirements

U.S. Citizenship required (government contract)
Active Top Secret clearance OR eligibility to obtain one required
