• Prepares project plans and drives the project from conception and planning to implementation.
• Will participate in the development of strategies, processes, and resources.
• Identifies and resolves potential complications within the project and develops solutions for resolution
• Drives cost schedule performance of equipment for internal and external customers and vendors worldwide

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead semiconductor cleanroom wafer fab equipment installation projects from conception through implementation. The ideal candidate will have strong project management expertise combined with hands-on experience in semiconductor equipment installation, coordination of cross-functional teams, and delivery of projects within schedule and budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed project plans and drive projects from planning and design through implementation and deployment
• Develop and support project strategies, processes, and resource plans
• Manage project schedules and task execution using project management tools such as reports, tracking charts, checklists, and scheduling software
• Coordinate internal division resources to ensure on-time and within-budget project delivery
• Initiate and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders as required
• Drive cost and schedule performance for equipment delivery for internal and external customers and global vendors
• Participate in cross-functional design teams involving internal, external, and matrixed resources
• Provide technical guidance and input to team members to achieve project milestones
• Interface with stakeholders across the division to define project objectives, provide status updates, and support release and deployment activities
• Provide engineering and business process expertise on standard programs and operational issues
• Proactively identify project risks, constraints, and potential issues, and develop mitigation or resolution plans

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Proven experience managing semiconductor cleanroom wafer fab system installations from fit-up to hook-up
• Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing environments and cleanroom protocols
• Experience coordinating equipment installation projects involving multiple vendors and global teams
• Hands-on experience with Applied Materials semiconductor systems is a strong plus
• Excellent project planning, scheduling, and execution skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to manage cost, schedule, and performance objectives simultaneously
