Job Description:

  • We are looking for a React Tech Lead to lead the design, development, and delivery of modern, scalable web applications.
  • This role requires deep hands-on expertise in React, modern front-end engineering, and solution design, along with the ability to guide developers, make sound technical decisions, and ensure high-quality delivery.
  • The ideal candidate combines strong engineering fundamentals with team leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of scalable, responsive, and high-performing web applications using React.
  • Define and drive front-end architecture, reusable component strategy, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership through code reviews, design guidance, technical problem-solving, and development governance.
  • Mentor developers and help elevate team capability, code quality, and engineering discipline.
  • Collaborate with product owners, UX/design teams, architects, QA, and backend teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Own sprint-level execution, including estimation, task breakdown, dependency management, and delivery planning.
  • Ensure quality through unit testing, integration testing, debugging, performance tuning, and defect resolution.
  • Drive non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, security, maintainability, and accessibility.
  • Identify technical risks, constraints, and dependencies early, and lead mitigation planning.
  • Support production releases, troubleshoot critical incidents, and improve platform stability and reliability.
  • Promote strong engineering practices across version control, CI/CD, documentation, clean code, and secure development.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6 10+ years of experience in front-end or web application development, with 1 3+ years in a technical leadership role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with React.js and JavaScript / TypeScript.
  • Solid understanding of component-based architecture, state management, API integration, and front-end design patterns.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Experience defining scalable front-end solutions and leading engineering decisions.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, code quality, testing strategy, and performance optimization.
  • Experience conducting code reviews, mentoring team members, and working with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of Agile / Scrum delivery models.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Next.js, Redux, micro frontends, or modern front-end testing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, authentication flows, and integration patterns.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms, DevOps pipelines, containerization, and modern release practices.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards, observability, and front-end performance monitoring.
  • Experience contributing to technical hiring, solution discussions, and engineering governance.
