Job Summary
The Manager of LMS and Training Analytics is responsible for overseeing the administration of TriWest's Learning Management System (LMS) and leading the organization's training analytics function. This role ensures the LMS is configured, maintained, and optimized to support seamless delivery of training programs for employees and external stakeholders. The Manager collaborates with training teams, Human Capital, and IT to align system functionality with organizational learning goals, compliance requirements, and reporting needs. In addition, this role leads the design and execution of training analytics strategies, leveraging data to measure program effectiveness, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to leadership. The Manager, LMS and Training Analytics ensures that training delivery is supported by accurate reporting, dashboards, and metrics, enabling TriWest to make data driven decisions about workforce development and stakeholder education.
Education & Experience
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in education, instructional design, instructional technology, organizational development, HR, or related discipline or related field; OR equivalent experience, to include any combination of education and experience
5-7 years of progressive experience in LMS administration, training analytics, or corporate learning systems
be able to receive a favorable Interim and adjudicated final Department of Defense (DoD) background investigation
Strong background in training analytics, including developing dashboards, generating reports, and interpreting data to measure training effectiveness
Proficient in MS Office - Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, PowerPoint
2 + years of program management experience to include people supervision
Preferred:
Master's Degree in education, instructional design, instructional technology, organizational development, HR, or related discipline or related field
Professional certifications in LMS platforms, data analytics, or project management (e.g., ATD, SHRM, PMP, Tableau, Power BI) are a plus
Key Responsibilities
Directly supervise and provide guidance to the LMS Administrator and data analyst, ensuring alignment with departmental goals.
Serve as the primary liaison between Training, IT, HR, Compliance, and external vendors for all LMS-related initiatives.
Ensure accurate training records, data integrity, and regulatory compliance across all training platforms.
Manage and optimize LMS configuration, user access, system security and course deployment.
Monitor LMS performance and usage to ensure TriWest remains within contracted user licenses for all associated vendors (both the LMS platform and outsourced training content providers).
Oversee technical support for learners, instructors, and administrators.
Lead the design and execution of training analytics strategies to measure program effectiveness.
Develop and maintain training analytics dashboards and reports to measure effectiveness.
Provide leadership in evaluating training data to identify gaps, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting for compliance and organizational decision-making.
Support continuous improvement of training delivery through system enhancements and data insights.
Partner with training delivery teams, instructional design, Human Capital, and IT to align LMS functionality and analytics with organizational learning goals.
Provide leadership with data-driven recommendations to improve training programs and learner outcomes.
Drive innovation in LMS utilization and training analytics to enhance learner engagement and program impact.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in LMS administration and learning analytics.
Performs other duties as assigned.
