Role: Snowflake QA Lead
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 3-4 months for the pilot project then could be extended

Role Overview

• We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake QA Lead with strong experience in Snowflake Cortex AI, data validation, and testing of AI-driven document processing pipelines. The ideal candidate will lead QA efforts around unstructured document ingestion, metadata extraction, Natural Language search validation, and Snowflake-based data workflows.
• This role requires deep expertise in Snowflake Cortex, strong SQL skills, and the ability to design and execute complex test cases for AI/ML-driven data processing systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, document, and execute detailed QA test cases for Snowflake Cortex AI solutions
• Validate Natural Language (NL) search capabilities and AI-driven search results
• Test document ingestion and metadata extraction workflows from S3 buckets into Snowflake
• Validate handling of unstructured/imaged complaint documents
• Perform end-to-end testing of data pipelines, ingestion processes, tagging, and metadata storage
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across Snowflake environments
• Collaborate with data engineering and AI teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Track defects, follow up on test execution, and support production validation activities
• Work closely with teams adopting Cortex AI technologies in a rapidly evolving environment

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Snowflake Cortex AI
• Experience testing Natural Language Search (NL Search) solutions
• Experience validating document scanning / unstructured document ingestion workflows
• Strong SQL skills for data validation and analysis
• Experience with S3 bucket integrations and metadata extraction workflows
• QA/Test Lead experience in data engineering or AI-driven platforms
• Experience validating pipeline ingestion, tagging, and metadata processing

Preferred Skills

• AI/ML testing experience
• Snowflake data engineering exposure
• Experience with OCR/document intelligence platforms
• Automation testing exposure for data pipelines
