Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Sr. Production Support for a contract assignment with one of our premier financial services clients in Rutherford, NJ .
Required Skills :
- 5+ years of application production support experience.
- Strong troubleshooting experience supporting Java/Spring Boot microservices.
- Experience supporting Angular and/or React applications.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs and distributed systems architecture.
- Experience with:
- Oracle
- PostgreSQL
- MongoDB
- Hands-on experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, or ECS containers.
- Strong Linux administration and shell scripting skills.
- Experience using Grafana and enterprise monitoring platforms.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong ownership and accountability.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to perform effectively during high-pressure production incidents.
- Strong collaboration across development, infrastructure, and business teams.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
Preferred Skills :
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Knowledge of Kafka, event-driven architectures, and API management.
- Experience with application performance tuning and capacity planning.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Experience supporting financial services or large enterprise environments.
