Sr. Electrical Engineer -Medical

Job Description

In this role as a Sr. Electrical Engineer you will provide end-to-end electrical engineering support across the full product lifecycle, from advanced development through field troubleshooting and issue resolution, with a strong emphasis on wireless data transfer. Leading detailed design and development of patient monitoring assemblies, including creation and management of component-level requirements, ensuring reliable and secure data communication.

Your role:
  • Proven experience in full product development lifecycle, with strong expertise in wireless technologies including Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and 802.11 (Wi-Fi) system design and integration.
  • Hands-on schematic capture and leadership in mixed-signal PCB layout, including close technical collaboration with board vendors.
  • Solid background in board-level analog design (op-amps, discrete components) and DSP signal processing.
  • Experience with EMI/EMC design, engineering testing, troubleshooting, and validation to ensure robust, compliant products.
  • Ability to develop lower-level requirements and confidently lead technical tasks while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience (3+ with Master's), preferably in medical devices or highly regulated industries.

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in (Orlando, Florida) is $99,000 to $158,000.00

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
