Position OverviewThis role supports a large-scale
workforce development initiative to the clients data center expansion. We are seeking experienced
data center operations professionals who can blend
hands-on technical expertise with
leadership, coaching, and instructional support.
You will help develop the next generation of data center technicians by providing real-world operational guidance in
classroom, lab, and simulated data-center environments.
Key Responsibilities- Technician Onboarding - Lead training and development for new data center technicians
- Operational Mentorship - Provide coaching, guidance, and real-world insights
- Infrastructure Support - Support hands-on learning tied to deployments, troubleshooting, and hardware workflows
- Classroom & Lab Instruction - Deliver technical leadership in structured learning environments
- Documentation & Reporting - Assist with program coordination, readiness tasks, and administrative support
- Safety & Standards - Reinforce operational best practices and compliance expectations
Required Skills & Experience- Experience in data center operations, infrastructure support, or hardware deployment
- Strong understanding of server hardware, troubleshooting, and structured cabling
- Ability to guide, mentor, and support developing technicians
- Comfortable presenting to groups in classroom or lab settings
- Strong communication and leadership capabilities
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in hyperscale or enterprise data centers
- Familiarity with fiber, structured cabling, and BICSI standards
- OSHA-10, BICSI, or other industry certifications
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Columbus, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
