Job Description
We are seeking a Scrum Master to join our dynamic team supporting the GFIIT portfolio. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Agile delivery, Scaled Agile facilitation, and capital markets technology and a proven ability to enable high-performing teams, remove impediments, and drive predictable delivery outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams as a servant leader and coach.
- Coordinate and facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Manage team dependencies, track delivery plans, and provide transparent progress reporting.
- Drive adherence to Definition of Ready and Definition of Done to meet sprint goals and timelines.
- Enable continuous improvement and increase team maturity per Bank of America guidelines.
- Facilitate Scaled Agile events, including PI planning and Scrum of Scrums, and lead pre-planning activities.
- Provide delivery management and oversight for key GFIIT initiatives and milestones.
- Perform business analysis to clarify needs, document requirements, and align solutions with business partners.
- Develop domain understanding of Treasury platforms and supported applications.
- Collaborate across scrum teams to establish and share Agile best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Agile Scrum Master experience with delivery management in a technology environment.
- Proficiency facilitating Scrum and Scaled Agile ceremonies and managing cross-team dependencies.
- Business analysis capability to translate business needs into actionable backlog items.
- Capital markets background with product knowledge in Fixed Income or Derivatives.
- Experience with trading or Quartz-based applications; ability to use Python or SQL for scripting or analysis.
Preferred Skills:
- Scrum Master or PMP certification.
- Prior experience in Treasury technology within a large financial institution.
