Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled SAP ABAP Consultant with 8+ years of strong technical expertise to support a long-term engagement. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience across AMS support, implementation projects, and enhancements, with the ability to work in a dynamic delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and support SAP ABAP programs including reports, interfaces,enhancements, forms, and workflows
Handle Application Management Support (AMS) activities including bug fixes, performance tuning, and system enhancements
Participate in SAP implementation and rollout projects, including technical design, development, testing, and deployment
Work closely with functional teams (FICO, SD, MM) to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions
Develop and maintain RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms)
Support integration developments (IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, APIs)
Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and adherence to SAP best practices
Assist in troubleshooting production issues and providing timely resolutions

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development
Strong expertise in RICEF objects
Hands-on experience in AMS support projects
Proven experience in SAP implementation / rollout projects
Strong experience with IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, Enhancements (User Exits, BADI)
Experience working with SmartForms / Adobe Forms
Good understanding of SAP module integrations (FICO, SD, MM)
Strong debugging and performance tuning skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in S/4HANA (ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, OData) is a plus
Exposure to interfaces and middleware (PI/PO or other integration tools)
SAP Certification is an advantage
