Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and enhance Power BI semantic models, datasets, and dashboards for executive and operational claims KPIs—across lines and geographies
  • Standardize and document KPI definitions, formulas, and cohort logic; own lineage/metric registry
  • Manage dashboard and report deployment, workspace/security governance, dataset refresh, and versioning
  • Develop and maintain Metabase SQL dashboards; ensure alignment with established metrics
  • Serve as data steward: define required fields, profile/monitor data quality, and address issues upstream
  • Partner cross-functionally (Claims, Actuarial, Data Operations, AI, Legal, IT) on requirements, adoption, and training
  • Embed best practices in claims data governance, net/gross toggling, CAT handling, besides others
  • Support analytics for CAT events, litigation, fraud/SIU, subrogation, vendor performance, resource management
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR/CCPA, NY DFS, and Starr’s privacy/security standards
