Job Title: Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer

Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer to support the design, development, and maintenance of cloud-based data pipelines and data solutions. This role will focus on building reliable data ingestion and transformation processes, supporting analytics use cases, and improving the performance, quality, and efficiency of data workflows in Google Cloud Platform.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and curating data from multiple sources
Build and support cloud-based data solutions using Google Cloud Platform services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, and related technologies
Develop data transformation logic using Python, SQL, and DBT/Dataform
Help ensure data quality, consistency, and readiness for analytics and reporting
Monitor and improve pipeline performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
Support data governance, access controls, and security best practices within cloud environments
Work with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver practical solutions
Assist with automation, workflow orchestration, and infrastructure support using tools such as Terraform and related platforms
Document data processes, pipeline logic, and technical solutions to support maintainability and knowledge sharing
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines, cloud processing, and data delivery

Required Experience

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field, or equivalent experience
8-10 years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or related technical roles
At least 2 years of hands-on experience building and deploying cloud-based data solutions, preferably in Google Cloud Platform
Strong experience with Python and SQL
Experience building and supporting cloud-based data pipelines
Experience working with Google Cloud Platform services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, DataProc, Pub/Sub, or Cloud Run
