Description
This role is a 3rd shift role - Onsite - 11PM - 7AM
The IT Operations Analyst is responsible for monitoring and analyzing the operation of Client Server platforms (i.e. central console, on-line terminals, etc.)
Essential Generic Job Functions (List in order of importance):
Identifies, analyzes, and solves technical problems to ensure optimal performance.
Hands on within the data center doing cabling and rack and stack
Responds to customer problems and complaints.
Assesses performance and makes recommendations for change based on company needs and goals.
Designs monitoring tools to detect and report on system performance.
Troubleshoots and provides support to users.
Maintains necessary production journal and control log(s).
Maintains operation records of machine utilization, PMs and/or equipment repairs.
Preforms and verifies backup procedures for related solutions as per defined policies and procedures.
Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
Lifts a minimum of 25 lbs., pushes and pulls a minimum of 25 lbs. and stands a minimum of 2 hours a day.
Requirements
Knowledge, Education and Skills Required:
1. Bachelor's level degree or equivalent years of experience in a related (IT) role.
2. Two or more years of relevant Information Technology experience.
3. Possesses working knowledge of subject matter and an interest in Networking, or Systems.
4. Related technical expertise.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as detail oriented.
6. Strong analytical thinking skills ability to work as part of team.
