Description:
Summary: Provides technical solutions across systems, applications, or infrastructure. Responsibilities: Analyze technical issues, develop solutions, and support IT systems. Skills: Relevant technical background and problem-solving skills.
Data Center Exit program requires additional engineering capacity to support both the Storage and Compute/Virtualization workstreams. The effort includes storage migrations, server and virtual machine migrations, environment build activities, testing, cutover execution, post-migration validation, and decommissioning activities. Successful delivery requires close coordination with application, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure business continuity while minimizing operational risk.
Most migration activities must be performed during evenings and weekends to avoid disruption to production services. Based on the current migration schedule, the team is expected to support migration and cutover activities almost every weekend through August 2027
Core must-haves:
- 5+ years of relevant infrastructure/engineering experience.
- Hands-on data center migration / exit experience.
- Storage migration experience.
- Server and VM / virtualization migration experience.
- Experience with environment builds, testing, and migration preparation.
- Hands-on cutover execution during migration windows.
- Post-migration validation and troubleshooting.
- Decommissioning of migrated infrastructure.
