We are seeking a senior-level Programmer with 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications, including vendor-hosted (COTS) solutions. This role involves working in an Oracle database environment and contributing to application and data service support.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PL/SQL development, data modeling, ETL processes, and system integrations. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain efficient and secure data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Support a large-scale system replacement project with a focus on data migration and ongoing maintenance
Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database objects (tables, views, indexes, triggers, constraints)
Develop and optimize PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions
Perform data modeling (logical and physical), including normalization
Lead data migration and data conversion activities
Develop and integrate web services (SOAP/REST) for system integrations
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with standards
Collaborate with architects, DBAs, and application teams for performance tuning and best practices
Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues
Participate in technical design, documentation, and estimation activities
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL (packages, procedures, functions)
8+ years of experience with Oracle tools (Toad, SQL Developer)
8+ years of experience creating and managing Oracle database objects
8+ years of experience in data modeling and database design
Experience with vendor-hosted/COTS application integration
8+ years of experience in data migration and data conversion
Strong experience in data analysis, data quality, and metadata management
8+ years of experience developing and integrating SOAP/REST web services
