Senior Network Engineer (Industrial/Manufacturing)

The role

A hands-on network engineer who can own projects end to end with minimal oversight: plan, procure, configure, deploy, and troubleshoot. This is not a project coordinator role (a “Project Manager” title is a red flag).

Must haves:

  • 6+ years network engineering (open to 4+ for strong profiles)
  • Senior-level routing and switching: BGP, OSPF, redistribution, subnetting
  • Hands-on Juniper (top priority), then Aruba, then Cisco; Arista is a plus
  • Comfortable in large industrial/manufacturing facilities
  • CCNP, CCIE, or Juniper certs (JNCIP)
  • Automation (Netmiko, scripting, REST APIs), multi-switch code upgrades
  • Light DevOps familiarity

Day to day

  • Configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot network gear across multiple large facilities and new factory builds
  • Automate routine tasks, document runbooks, join on-call rotation (occasional weekends and after-hours)
  • No wireless configuration (dedicated wireless team)
