Our client is a forward-thinking organization undergoing a large-scale transformation of its Human Capital Management (HCM) and enterprise data platforms. Based out of Charlotte, NC, they are looking to hire a Solution Architect on a contract basis.
This is a high-impact opportunity to shape the future of a modern HCM ecosystem by driving architecture decisions across Oracle Fusion HCM and cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing scalable, enterprise-grade solutions while working closely with cross-functional teams across cloud, security, and product. This position offers strong exposure to cutting-edge technologies like Databricks and Azure, along with the ability to influence long-term technical strategy. Contract Duration: 6+ Months
Required Skills & Experience
Deep expertise with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM (configurations, role-based security, HDL, OTBI/BIP, HCM Extract, Payroll Flows, Fast Formulas)
Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle ATP/ADW, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
Strong background in PL/SQL, REST APIs, ETL concepts, event-driven architecture, CI/CD, and version control
Experience designing scalable integration solutions across hybrid environments
Strong troubleshooting and production support capabilities
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience with Azure cloud services (certifications preferred)
Exposure to Databricks, Kafka, Informatica IDMC, or similar data platforms
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), scripting, and test automation
Familiarity with GitHub, LeanIX
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Design and architect HCM and enterprise data integration solutions
Collaborate with architects, product teams, and stakeholders to define technical strategy
Guide development teams on modern integration patterns and best practices
Produce architecture documentation and participate in technical review boards
Ensure alignment with enterprise standards, security, and cloud best practices
Support and troubleshoot high-severity production issues as needed
