Salary Range
$71,300.00 - $106,925.00
The Client Technologies Administrator 2, supporting FAS and SEAS is responsible for:
Provide on-site administration and support for domain specific applications and computational hardware and software used in faculty research which includes: desktops, laptops, server class computers, storage arrays, and tape backup libraries in laboratory and workgroup environments.
Coordinate service with IT professionals from other units.
Prepare documentation (procedural, planning, informational for team, as well as end users) to support functions specific to departments.
Coordinate new AI application projects within both FAS and SEAS and ITS. Both providing instruction and insight to departments as well as creating the applications as needed.
Principal Responsibilities
1. Responsible for the planning and delivery of customer support services including installation, consultation, troubleshooting, user assistance, and training.
2. Resolve routine to moderately complex end-user issues in a timely manner through established protocol and troubleshooting; escalate as necessary.
3. Provide guidance and explain policies and procedures to end-users.
4. Install and configure software for network connectivity, backups, server access, etc. on user systems.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree and two years of experience or equivalent education and experience.
