Role Summary

We are seeking a senior SAP S/4HANA consultant with deep expertise in Engineering Change Management (ECM) to support a large-scale ECC to S/4HANA brownfield transformation. This role will focus on designing, configuring, and implementing S/4 Unified Change Records and associated workflows, while supporting the migration of existing engineering change processes from ECC.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the implementation of Engineering Change Management (ECM) processes within SAP S/4HANA
• Configure and enable S/4 Unified Change Records, including Change Objects and status profiles
• Support migration of ECC Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) into S/4
• Configure and support Fiori applications related to ECM, including:
• Manage Change Records (F2097)
• Engineering Cockpit (Fiori App 3384)
• Design and implement flexible workflows within S/4 to support change approval and governance processes
• Partner with supply chain, manufacturing, and quality stakeholders to align system functionality with business requirements
• Support integration points between S/4 and adjacent systems (e.g., SAP PLM, material synchronization interfaces)
• Assist with remediation of custom solutions and ensure alignment with S/4 best practices
• Provide guidance during testing, validation, and deployment in a GxP-regulated environment

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of SAP experience with a strong focus on S/4HANA
• Hands-on experience with Engineering Change Management (ECM) in S/4
• Proven experience migrating ECC ECM (ECR/ECO) processes to S/4 Unified Change Records
• Strong experience with Fiori apps related to ECM (e.g., Manage Change Records, Engineering Cockpit)
• Experience designing and implementing flexible workflows in S/4
• Solid understanding of supply chain and manufacturing data structures (e.g., BOMs, recipes, master data)
• Ability to operate independently and interface with both technical and business stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in life sciences / pharmaceutical environments (GxP)
• Familiarity with SAP PLM integrations and change master data processes
• Experience supporting brownfield S/4HANA transformations
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations
