Forward Deployed Engineer

Description

We are looking for a skilled Forward Deployed Engineer to join our dynamic team in New York, New York. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in software engineering to deliver innovative solutions that align with client needs and business objectives. You will play a pivotal role in developing, deploying, and maintaining features while fostering strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
Write and review code daily, contributing to integrations, enhancing platform functionality, and resolving technical challenges.
Manage the development lifecycle of features from gathering requirements to testing, deployment, and monitoring.
Collaborate with engineering teams to refine and improve the platform using insights from client interactions.
Design and implement scalable solutions that meet client needs while supporting broader platform objectives.
Act as a technical advisor for client teams, building trust and ensuring clear communication.
Oversee all technical aspects of onboarding, from contract initiation to successful product launch.
Identify and implement improvements to streamline onboarding processes, focusing on self-service capabilities.
Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external vendors to ensure seamless delivery.
Work with Operations and Customer Success teams to prioritize and deliver impactful product enhancements.

Requirements

Extensive experience with React and Node.js, with a proven ability to write and review code effectively.
Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts into business-focused language.
Demonstrated success in leading technical projects, including implementation and decision-making responsibilities.
Ability to transform client requirements into production-ready, scalable solutions.
Proven track record of managing relationships across diverse stakeholders, including clients and partners.
Experience identifying gaps in technical processes and implementing effective improvements.
Proficiency in JavaScript, serverless computing, and cloud technologies.
Familiarity with Express.js and NoSQL databases.
