Summary

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician for an Onsite position with a Global Biotechnology Company located in Thousand Oaks, CA. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing advanced installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of utility and facility equipment used in manufacturing, labs, and office areas. This position requires working a 12-hour overnight shift (6:30 PM - 7:30 AM), Sunday through Tuesday, and alternating Wednesdays, while complying with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The schedule during the initial 2-6 week training phase will be Monday through Friday, approximately 8am to 5pm.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform advanced installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, testing, and documentation of utility and facility equipment
  • Develop, write, and complete various quality systems and safety documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Change Control (CCMS), and Work Orders (WO)
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in a timely manner in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), SOPs, and company procedures
  • Interact with peers and clients in manufacturing, maintenance, utility plants, and analytical labs
  • Provide training for staff, support audits, and technically approve maintenance reports
  • Interpret and revise loop sheets, electrical schematics, P&IDs, and panel drawings
  • Understand, follow, and document batch records for the inspection and packaging process

Requirements:
  • Associate degree and 4 years of experience OR High school diploma / GED and 6 years of experience
  • Proven hands-on maintenance and system troubleshooting experience
  • Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Experience with packaging configurations, as well as understanding and documenting batch records
  • Filling and finishing manufacturing experience, preferably vial inspection
  • Understanding of measurements, calculations, and the metric system

Pay range: up to $28.74 per hour
