Field Support Technician - Roaming (Metro North Region)Location: Silver Spring, MD area preferred
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM (with occasional evenings to ~8 PM)
On-Call: 1 week rotation
Travel: Roaming across South Baltimore, Silver Spring, Lanham, Mitchellville, Laurel (mileage reimbursed)
We are seeking a dependable
Field Support Technician to provide onsite, roaming technical support across multiple locations in the Metro North region. This role requires strong independence, reliability, and flexibility as daily assignments may shift based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities- Travel between sites to resolve software break/fix incidents
- Perform IMACs (installs, moves, adds, changes) and device refreshes
- Support a wide range of peripherals:
- Scanners, ID card readers, barcode scanners
- Credit card readers, label printers, signature pads
- Dragon dictation microphones, RFID readers
- Provide deskside support for Windows 10 and Microsoft Office
- Use ServiceNow for ticketing (preferred, not required)
- Support remote sessions via LogMeIn
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Rockville, MD.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
