Role: Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with 10+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD implementation. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in cloud platforms, containerization, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and deployment automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Implement and manage containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Manage configuration, release processes, and application deployments across environments.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or Datadog.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations teams to improve system reliability.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance, scalability, and availability.
  • Implement DevSecOps practices, security policies, and cloud infrastructure best practices.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to DevOps standards and architecture.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure automation.
  • Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
  • Strong knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting using Python, Bash, or Shell.
  • Experience with Git, monitoring tools, logging, and incident management.
  • Knowledge of networking, security, cloud architecture, and high-availability systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of SRE practices, reliability engineering, and disaster recovery.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration.
