Role: Business Systems Analyst NICE Actimize

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst with hands-on expertise in NICE Actimize to join our Financial Crimes Compliance / AML Technology team.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience configuring and supporting Actimize workflows and a solid understanding of Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), and financial crime compliance processes. This role will serve as a key bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business requirements into effective system configurations and workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Configure, support, and troubleshoot NICE Actimize workflows, including case management and workflow-related modules.
Gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications, workflow designs, and system requirements.
Support AML processes including transaction monitoring, sanctions/watchlist screening, SAR filing, and CDD/EDD.
Analyze system behavior, alerts, and workflows to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
Collaborate with business, compliance, technology, and other cross-functional teams to implement AML technology solutions.
Support Currency Transaction Reporting (CTR) processes and related regulatory requirements.
Document business processes, system workflows, functional requirements, and configuration changes.
Participate in testing, validation, troubleshooting, and implementation of system enhancements.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of hands-on experience configuring or supporting NICE Actimize workflows, including Case Management, Workflow Designer, or related modules.
Strong understanding of BSA and AML regulatory requirements.
Practical knowledge of Currency Transaction Reporting (CTR) processes and requirements.
Good understanding of core AML domains, including:
Transaction Monitoring
Sanctions/Watchlist Screening
Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR)
Customer Due Diligence (CDD/EDD)
Experience creating business requirements, functional specifications, process documentation, and workflow documentation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to effectively collaborate with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with fraud detection workflows within NICE Actimize.
Exposure to SQL and/or data analysis tools for investigating alerts, transactions, and system behavior.
Previous experience in banking, financial services, fintech, or financial crime compliance environments.
CAMS certification or progress toward an AML/BSA-related certification.
