Java/Automation Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is seeking a Java/Automation Engineer.

Responsibilities:
* Support migration of a legacy CPQ platform from C# to Java/React
* Work within an API-driven architecture, integrating and orchestrating existing services
* Leverage detailed documentation including API mappings, system interactions, and integration points
* Help stabilize and bring the modernized application into production
* Design and develop automated test frameworks using Selenium and Playwright
* Build and execute automated test suites for application functionality
* Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps workflows

REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong Java development experience
* Experience with APIs, system integrations, and service-based architectures
* Understanding of SDLC and deployment workflows
* Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
* Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium or Playwright
* Background in manual testing with progression into automation
* Familiarity with Azure DevOps and automated testing within CI/CD pipelines
* Experience supporting application modernization or migration initiatives

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
