Senior Azure Engineer job description:

Role & Experience Requirements: Seeking a Senior Azure Engineer with 10-16 years of software development experience. A background in the Healthcare sector (specifically payer clients) and familiarity with AI/ML/GenAI are highly preferred.
Core Data Technology Stack: Deep, hands-on expertise is required across Azure core data services (ADF, Databricks, Synapse, Data Lake, Cosmos DB, HDInsight, Azure SQL) as well as Snowflake and modern computing paradigms (MPP, Distributed, Unity Catalog).
Data Modeling & Engineering: Must have strong experience building ETLs/data integration interfaces, delivering data models, and implementing Data Vault 2.0 (using the automate_dv package) alongside dbt core or cloud.
Architecture & Solution Design: Responsible for architecting scalable, cost-effective Azure platforms by translating complex functional and analytical requirements into technical designs and forward-looking strategic visions.
MLOps & Advanced Analytics: Involves advising clients on ML Engineering, deploying MLOps at scale on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), working with APIs, and deploying self-service analytics and dashboards.
DevOps & Delivery: Requires successful delivery of large-scale, Agile data management initiatives using CI/CD processes (Azure DevOps), test-driven development (TDD), automation, and comprehensive logging/monitoring.
Technical Leadership & Pre-Sales: Expected to oversee overall solution architecture, estimate project efforts, drive enterprise-wide platform adoption, and assist in preparing and answering RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
Collaboration & Communication: Requires excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to work effectively with internal/external stakeholders and manage projects in a collaborative onsite/offshore model.
