About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our Manufacturing Engineering team. In this role, you will develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes, production layouts, and operational workflows that support high-quality, cost-effective, and scalable production.

You will work cross-functionally with engineering, quality, operations, and supply chain teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives, integrate advanced manufacturing technologies, and enhance overall production performance. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about leveraging technology and data to improve manufacturing outcomes.

What You'll Do

Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput.

Design and improve machine, equipment, and workstation layouts to support streamlined material flow and productive manufacturing operations.

Define manufacturing methods, process sequences, tooling requirements, and work instructions for fabrication and assembly activities.

Collaborate with design engineering teams to ensure products are designed for manufacturability and efficient production.

Integrate automation, robotics, and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) technologies to increase operational efficiency.

Create, interpret, and analyze 3D CAD models to develop manufacturing plans, work instructions, and process improvements.

Evaluate machinery, tooling, and equipment performance, including connected and IoT-enabled manufacturing systems.

Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve product quality and process reliability.

Develop and apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies and data-driven continuous improvement practices.

Incorporate quality inspection and testing requirements into manufacturing processes and production planning.

Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, quality, environmental, and workplace safety standards.

Support implementation of lean manufacturing principles, process optimization, and cost reduction initiatives.

Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support new product introduction (NPI), process qualification, and production readiness activities.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

2+ years of professional experience using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software in a manufacturing environment.

2+ years of experience utilizing Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software.

2+ years of experience working with G-code programming and CNC manufacturing processes.

2+ years of experience interpreting and applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

2+ years of experience using precision measuring instruments, gauges, and inspection equipment.

1+ year of experience supporting manufacturing special processes such as heat treatment, anodizing, chem film, passivation, coatings, or similar processes.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Creo, Siemens NX, or similar CAD platforms.

Experience with Creo Manufacturing, NX CAM, or equivalent CAM software.

Experience with manufacturing simulation and verification tools such as Vericut.

Knowledge of chemical conversion coatings, painting, and other special manufacturing processes.

Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, and other industry quality management systems.

Experience with enterprise systems such as SAP, Apriso, or similar manufacturing execution systems (MES).

Experience using Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools such as Windchill.

Strong project management and process improvement skills.

Experience applying Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders.
