Job Overview: This contingent assignment involves consulting on or participating in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering. You will contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables, analyze challenges requiring in-depth evaluation, and collaborate with client personnel to meet deliverables while adhering to policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities: - Lead or participate in complex initiatives on selected domains.
- Ensure quality, security, and compliance for supported systems and applications.
- Serve as a technical resource to find software solutions.
- Review and evaluate user needs to determine requirements.
- Provide technical support, advice, and consultation for supported applications.
- Create test data and conduct interfaces and unit tests.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document programs using Agile development practices.
- Ensure compliance and risk management requirements are met and collaborate with stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives.
- Conduct research, resolve problems, and recommend solutions and process improvements.
- Assist others in advanced software development.
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
Qualifications: - 4 years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting, training, military experience, or education.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft .NET Core, C#, VB.NET, and .NET design patterns such as Factory, Builder, MVC, Entity Framework, DAO, and Singleton Pattern.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, and data modeling languages such as XML, YAML, and JSON.
- Experience with REACT and web services such as SOAP and REST using OAuth and JWT.
- Knowledge of SQL Servers, non-SQL databases like MongoDB, and other standard database query tools.
- Experience with ASP.NET Web API and ODATA.
Desired Qualifications: - Experience with DevOps methodologies.
- Knowledge of OpenShift OCP, Micro-Services, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Experience with No-SQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Familiarity with cloud environments like OpenShift OCP.
- Proficiency in Continuous Improvement and Continuous Development tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, Harness, YAML, and Artifactory.
- Experience with SDLC methodologies like Agile, SCRUM, Kanban, and JIRA boards.
- Ability to develop unit tests and integration tests such as XUnit and MSTest.
Job Expectations: - Willingness to work on-site at the stated location for 3 days a week.

Pay Range: $55 - $59
