Job Title: Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) / Remote

Location : Remote

Job Summary:
We are looking for an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to manage and maintain the security of the organization’s IT systems and data. The role involves monitoring security controls, ensuring compliance, and supporting cybersecurity operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain IT security systems and controls
Ensure compliance with security policies and standards
Identify and report security risks or incidents
Support vulnerability assessments and audits
Manage user access and security permissions
Work with IT teams to improve system security
Maintain security documentation and reports

Required Skills:

Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
Understanding of network and system security
Experience with security tools and monitoring systems
Problem-solving and analytical skills
Good communication and reporting abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
Relevant certifications such as Security+, CISSP, or CEH
