Job Description
We are seeking a Software Engineer - Java/Full Stack II to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java backend development with Spring Boot and a proven ability to deliver high-quality, reliable software across the full development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Execute full lifecycle application development.
- Design, code, and debug applications in various software languages.
- Conduct software, code, and requirements analysis; reviews; and metrics identification.
- Perform system risk and software reliability analyses.
- Apply object-oriented design and analysis (OOA/OOD).
- Develop software modeling and simulation as needed.
- Design front-end graphical user interfaces.
- Execute software testing and quality assurance activities.
- Tune performance, improve stability, balance usability, and automate processes.
- Support, maintain, and document software functionality.
- Integrate software with existing systems.
- Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation.
- Maintain standards compliance across deliverables.
- Implement localization and globalization requirements as applicable.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Java with strong backend development using Spring Boot.
- Experience across the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, and support.
- Knowledge of object-oriented design principles and software modeling.
- Ability to perform performance tuning, automation, and integration with existing systems.
- Undergraduate degree in computer engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to OpenShift or containerized deployment environments.
- Experience with legacy application development and modernization.
- Familiarity with Snowflake or modern data warehousing platforms.
