Location: Everett, WA (100% Onsite)
Shift: 1st Shift | 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Duration: 6+ Months (Possible Extension/Conversion)
Relocation: Out-of-state candidates considered; relocation assistance not provided.

Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Equipment & Tool Engineer to support equipment development, integration, and continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on asset reliability, automated systems, equipment lifecycle management, and production support. The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and passionate about process optimization and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing equipment and production assets.
  • Ensure equipment reliability, safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct equipment health assessments and support preventive maintenance programs.
  • Manage asset lifecycle documentation, configuration control, and maintenance planning.
  • Lead equipment acquisition, testing, commissioning, and modification projects.
  • Create equipment specifications and verification/validation test plans.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, procurement teams, technicians, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Analyze maintenance and spare-parts data to improve reliability and reduce costs.
  • Optimize manufacturing equipment for safety, quality, productivity, and maintainability.
  • Support production readiness activities and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing complex technical projects and equipment implementation.
  • Knowledge of asset management, preventive maintenance, and spare-parts optimization.
  • Experience with hardware/software configuration management and technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with industrial safety standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment systems.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
