Job Summary
Seeking an Equipment & Tool Engineer to support the design, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of automated production equipment and control systems in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with operations, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability, safety, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support automated equipment, controls, and tooling systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, electrical, and production equipment issues.
- Develop, test, and implement equipment upgrades and process improvements.
- Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues.
- Support industrial networking, data collection systems, and equipment cybersecurity.
- Manage equipment modification and acquisition projects.
- Create equipment specifications, documentation, and supplier bid packages.
- Track and improve equipment performance metrics (OEE, MTBF, MTTR, uptime).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance manufacturing efficiency and safety.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field.
- 2+ years of engineering experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing/production environments.
- Knowledge of electrical and electronic systems.
- Industrial controls, networking, servers, and databases experience.
- Troubleshooting and systems diagnostics expertise.
- Programming experience with C#, Java, Visual Basic, or similar languages.
