Position: Service Technician - Commercial DDC Controls

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to support and expand our growing commercial DDC service operations. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in building automation systems who is looking to build a long-term career in service while being part of a division that is actively being built and expanded. Candidates will have the opportunity to grow with the company and play a role in shaping how the service department operates.
Responsibilities: - Perform service, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial DDC control systems.
- Diagnose system issues including controllers, sensors, networks, and field devices.
- Execute system startups, commissioning support, and point-to-point verification.
- Perform preventative maintenance and system optimization.
- Communicate with customers to explain issues and solutions clearly.
- Document service activities, deficiencies, and recommendations.
- Assist in identifying service opportunities and upgrades.
- Work closely with engineering and project teams when needed.
Qualifications: - Experience with commercial DDC systems (Niagara, Honeywell, Schneider, etc.).
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and sequences of operation.
- Ability to troubleshoot controls, wiring, and communication networks (BACnet, Modbus, etc.).
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills.
- Valid driver's license.

- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and sequences of operation.
