Description: Our client is currently seeking a DPS-IT Security Specialist 2(ITSS)

Security Analyst (Part-Time, Remote)

Location: Remote (occasional on-site Columbus, OH)

Job Type: Part-Time (~10 hours/week)

Interview Process: Initial Teams interview ? In-person interview

Minimum Qualifications

3+ years of professional cybersecurity experience
Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks: NIST CSF, ISO 27001
Experience in:

Third-party risk assessment
Vendor management
Data privacy
Vulnerability management

Familiarity with Bitsight (security ratings) and OneTrust (GRC platform)

Preferred Qualifications

Strong analytical and documentation skills
Ability to communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Experience generating automated reports/dashboards for risk exposure

Responsibilities

Review and validate security assessments submitted by online driver training companies
Assess annual attestations of compliance and identify deficiencies
Configure Bitsight monitoring parameters and track vendor security ratings
Generate reports and dashboards highlighting provider risk exposure
Communicate findings and remediation recommendations via OneTrust
Provide updates to the Public Safety Driver Training Program Office
Investigate complaints and confirm monitoring results
Monitor upcoming changes to controls and report
Provide testimony at administrative hearings if required

Role Context

Analyze security posture ratings for 61+ online driver training organizations licensed by the Public Safety
Work is fully remote, flexible (including nights/weekends)
Other employment permitted, provided ~10 hours/week are dedicated to this role
