Description: Information Security Engineer III, Privileged Access Management (PAM)Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid - 3 days onsite required)

Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3-5 years of experience in password or credential management systems
- Experience with SQL and Python for scripting, automation, or analysis
- Experience with LDAP and directory services (e.g., Active Directory)
- Experience troubleshooting complex systems and performing root cause analysis
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage ambiguous technical challenges
Preferred Qualifications - 1-2 years of software development experience or strong ability to read and interpret code
- Experience with Privileged Access Management tools (e.g., Bravura Password Manager, CyberArk)
- Industry certifications such as CISSP
- Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare/HIPAA environments)
- Familiarity with identity governance platforms (e.g., SailPoint)
About the RoleAs an Information Security Engineer focused on Privileged Access Management (PAM), you will support the Automated Password Reset (APS) platform, built on Bravura Password Manager. This role emphasizes platform engineering, operational stability, and system integration rather than software development.
You will help maintain a highly integrated credential management system used across enterprise environments, ensuring reliability, scalability, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities - Provide engineering and operational support for the APS platform and underlying PAM infrastructure
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations with enterprise systems, including Active Directory, databases, and mainframe environments
- Support incident response, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of production issues
- Assist with platform upgrades, vendor patches, and post-release validation
- Perform system health checks and environment validation across development, testing, and production environments
- Support credential management workflows, including access controls, entitlements, and authentication rules
- Partner with software engineers, IAM architects, and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable system integrations
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily standups and backlog refinement, as a subject matter expert
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures
Additional Information - Hybrid work model: 3 days onsite required
- Standard business hours with occasional after-hours support for production changes or incident response
- Not a first-line support role, but may be engaged in escalated or critical issues
