Senior Information Security Engineer with strong expertise in
Identity & Access Management (IAM) and
CyberArk privileged access solutions. This role focuses on the operational stability, availability, and security of enterprise IAM platforms, including vendor-based and internally developed solutions.
The engineer will provide day-to-day operational support, manage change requests end-to-end, support integrations, troubleshoot incidents, and participate in an on-call rotation to ensure high availability of critical IAM services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide operational support for enterprise IAM platforms, including CyberArk (EPV, PVWA, CPM, PSM) and in-house IAM applications.
- Execute business-as-usual (BAU) IAM activities such as onboarding/offboarding, deprovisioning, account unlocks, password rotations, and access lifecycle management.
- Manage change requests through the full lifecycle (analysis, build, validation, implementation, and closure).
- Troubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and support environment recovery efforts.
- Perform platform maintenance activities including upgrades, patching, and system health checks.
- Conduct operational hygiene tasks such as privileged account cleanup, permissions reviews, and audit support.
- Support IAM integrations and respond to requests from internal platform and application teams.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities using scripting and APIs.
- Participate in scheduled on-call rotations with defined SLAs and incident response requirements.
Required Qualifications- 5+ years of experience in Information Security or Identity & Access Management.
- Hands-on experience with CyberArk or equivalent privileged access management platforms.
- Strong understanding of IAM concepts, access lifecycle processes, and operational security controls.
- Experience supporting IAM production environments with established SLAs.
- Proven ability to manage change requests and incident resolution in enterprise environments.
- Scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, and REST APIs.
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to incidents within required timeframes.
Preferred Qualifications- CyberArk certifications (Defender, Sentry, Guardian) or equivalent IAM certifications.
- Experience supporting custom or internally developed IAM applications.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory, Windows/Linux administration, and cloud IAM integrations (AWS/Azure).
- Experience with privileged account automation and non-human identity management.
Work Schedule & On-Call- Shift coverage: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Central Time, rotating schedule
- On-call rotation every 4-6 weeks
- Incident response expectation within 15 minutes
