Genesis10 is currently seeking a Full Stack Java Developer for a hybrid (3 days/week onsite) contract to hire opportunity with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This role involves designing, developing, and enhancing Java-based backend services and REST APIs within an Agile environment. The ideal candidate will collaborate with product owners and scrum masters, contribute to architectural discussions, and work closely with front-end teams consuming the APIs.
Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and enhance Java-based backend services and REST APIs
- Collaborate with product owners, scrum masters, and business SMEs during sprint ceremonies
- Perform code reviews, contribute to architectural discussions, and ensure best practices
- Debug production issues and participate in on-call rotation (if applicable)
- Write automated unit tests, integrate with CI/CD pipelines, and maintain documentation
- Work closely with front-end teams consuming the APIs
Requirements: - Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in automation development
- Strong proficiency in Core Java programming, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot
- Experience with front-end technologies such as AngularJS
- Advanced expertise in relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and data modeling
- Experience with RESTful APIs and enterprise integration patterns
- Experience with Agile/scrum methodologies
- Familiarity with Jira
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Desired skills: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience on the WorkFusion platform
- Practical experience in machine learning, including model development and deployment using Python
- Experience with Cloud-based infrastructure
- Knowledge of SQL & NoSQL databases (performance optimization and complex queries)
- Knowledge and/or experience handling certificates
Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06
