Genesis10 is seeking a Full Stack Developer. This is a 9-month contract position with a banking client located in OH. This is a hybrid position in Columbus, OH. Compensation: $50.00-59.00 per hour, depending on skill and experience level. Job Description: We are seeking a Hands-on Frontend / Full Stack Developer (React JS Focus) to design, develop, and maintain high-impact admin user interfaces and backend services for our Merchant Payment Services group. This is a technical lead position for a highly motivated individual contributor for UI development, translating complex merchant financial requirements into elegant frontend solutions, while working closely with Java Spring Boot backend systems, in-house framework, API gateway, and event-based patterns.
This role requires a leader who can code, mentor, and define architectural standards.
Responsibilities: - Frontend Development (Primary): Lead the development of responsive, accessible, and intuitive UI components using an in-house framework based on React.js (functional components, Hooks, Redux/Context API) for merchant-facing applications.
- Technical Leadership/ Individual Contribution: Drive design decisions for the frontend as well as backend, ensuring compliance with security, data protection, and performance standards.
- Feature-to-Story Conversion: Collaborate with Product Owners, UX designers, Backend Leads, and Product Analysts to break down complex business requirements into actionable technical user stories and tasks.
- Backend Integration: Must understand and may need to work with an in-house framework based on Java/Spring Boot backend services, including API integration (RESTful), API Gateway, and event-based patterns.
- Modeling & Specifications: Classify, Design and create OpenAPI Specifications (OAS) and perform rapid modeling of API interactions.
- Framework Adoption: Quickly learn, adapt, and implement in-house development frameworks based on React and Spring, promoting best practices across the team.
- Agile Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives in an Agile environment.
