Role Overview
The Shopper Marketing Designer plays a critical role in Shopper and Commerce Marketing initiatives by creating high-impact in-store and retail communications that drive conversion, enhance the shopper journey, and support promotional and product launch strategies.
This role focuses on delivering visually compelling, large-scale design solutions across in-store and print channels while maintaining a cohesive and elevated brand experience. The ideal candidate brings retail design experience, a refined design sensibility, and the ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging visual narratives.
This position requires a balance of creative concepting and executional excellence. The designer must be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while collaborating across creative, production, and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
Apply and uphold brand identity consistently across all in-store and print design assets
Design large-scale retail marketing materials, including signage, displays, and promotional assets, while maintaining brand integrity
Work within established brand standards and design systems to deliver a seamless, omni-channel shopper experience
Create visually compelling layouts with strong typography, hierarchy, and refined aesthetics
Collaborate closely with studio teams, creative operations, and cross-functional design partners to ensure alignment across campaigns
Provide clear creative direction and guidance to production teams for each asset or page
Prepare press-ready files efficiently and accurately, maintaining high quality under tight timelines
Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, prioritizing deliverables to meet deadlines
Communicate effectively across creative and business teams to support project success
Remain flexible and responsive to evolving business needs that support overall brand objectives
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
2 5 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably within retail or beauty environments
Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in typography, layout, brand design, and photo art direction
Proven experience designing for in-store and print environments
Intermediate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
Strong attention to detail with creative and innovative problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present design concepts
Strategic, critical, and creative thinker
Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple projects independently
