Job Description

Senior Structural Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join an established engineering firm in the Dallas, TX area. In this role, you will design and analyze structural systems for a variety of building projects and work with clients, architects, and project teams from design through construction.

Responsibilities include performing structural analysis and calculations, preparing construction documents and specifications, selecting appropriate structural systems and materials, coordinating with other disciplines, reviewing submittals, and supporting projects during construction. You will also help guide junior team members.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering, 8 or more years of building design experience, and a PE license (SE a plus). Proficiency with structural analysis software and Revit or AutoCAD, and a working knowledge of applicable building codes, are required. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects are important.
