Winner of the Top Long Island Workplaces and Long Island Innovator Awards, eVero Corporation is a software development and IT consulting company. We are currently looking for a motivated and tech-savvy individual to fill a Software Developer, Level II position within our organization.

The Software Developer, Level II possesses strong skills in C# coding and Microsoft SQL Server databases. This role is responsible for designing and developing enterprise-level applications, gathering and analyzing end-user requirements, and creating efficient build plans. The Software Developer performs coding, debugging, testing, code reviews, and troubleshooting throughout the software development lifecycle, applying best practices to deliver secure, high-quality solutions.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and develop modules for enterprise system applications using C#, Angular, and React.

  • Create and optimize SQL stored procedures, queries, and Transact-SQL scripts to ensure efficient data management and application performance.

  • Translate business requirements into detailed specifications and performance standards, ensuring delivery of robust, scalable software solutions.

  • Update and enhance existing software capabilities to improve performance and functionality.

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including application issues and resolutions, for future reference and knowledge sharing.

  • Implement unit tests and automated testing frameworks to ensure code quality and reliability, and maintain them as needed.

  • Maintain confidentiality and security of all data processed, stored, or accessed by applications.

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues throughout the software development lifecycle.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with technical staff, including network administrators and system developers.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

  • Clear and professional communication skills for collaborating with technical teams and clients, and for gathering and clarifying requirements.

  • Proficiency in the English language; fluency in Spanish a plus.

REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

  • 2-4 years of experience in software development.

  • Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Framework/Core/Standard.

  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ASP.NET (MVC).

  • Knowledge of T-SQL/SQL.

  • Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and relational data modeling.
