Our client is looking for GenAI Engineer – Finance Tech for a long term project and below is the detailed requirement.  

Role: GenAI Engineer – Finance Tech

Locations: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)

Employment Type: Contract

Experience: 12-13 Years

Domain: Banking / Financial Services / FinTech experience

Mandatory Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 12-13 years overall IT experience
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience
  • Strong hands-on expertise in:
  • Java
  • Spring Boot / Spring Cloud
  • Microservices Architecture
  • REST APIs
  • Kafka/Event-driven systems
  • Experience with:
  • GenAI/LLM integrations
  • RAG pipelines
  • LangChain or AI orchestration frameworks
  • Azure Cloud
  • Docker & Kubernetes (AKS preferred)
  • CI/CD and DevOps practices
  • Knowledge of distributed systems and asynchronous processing
  • Strong understanding of clean architecture, testing, and scalable backend design

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop enterprise-grade backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud
  • Build RESTful APIs and event-driven microservices using Kafka and WebFlux
  • Develop and integrate GenAI use cases including:
  • Conversational AI assistants
  • AI copilots
  • RAG-based applications
  • Agentic workflow automation
  • Integrate LLM platforms such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, and Anthropic
  • Build orchestration workflows using LangChain and custom orchestration frameworks
  • Develop scalable cloud-native solutions using Azure, Docker, Kubernetes/AKS
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins
  • Ensure security, observability, monitoring, logging, and performance optimization
  • Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and engineering governance
